Two Mediterranean gourmet dinners at Hotel Excelsior by Michelin-starred chefs
Moving from Mali Lošinj to Dubrovnik, the festival Taste the Mediterranean (TTM) heads to the warmer south, presenting two exclusive Mediterranean dinners on Thursday 15 October and Friday 16 October, at the legendary Hotel Excelsior. For the third consecutive year, in partnership with Adriatic Luxury Hotels, TTM blends Dubrovnik’s gastronomic culture with the cuisine of the Mediterranean culinary powerhouses: Italy and France. Two top chefs are arriving in the city: Giacomo Sacchetto from the restaurant Iris (Palazzo Soave) in Verona, and Ilane Tinchant from the restaurant Oursin (Hotel Bleu) in Carry-le-Rouet, a picturesque town on the French Riviera. Despite their youth, both chefs have earned a Michelin star for their respective restaurants. At Hotel Excelsior’s Salin restaurant, they will prepare two gourmet dinners alongside local chefs Mato Matić (from the Vapor restaurant at Hotel Bellevue, Michelin plate) and Petar Obad (from Hotel Excelsior). Dubrovnik, one of the most beautiful Mediterranean destinations, will host this week two unique, unmissable culinary events.
