Biography
Marijo Curić, Chef of the Year awarded by the Gault&Millau Croatia 2023 guide, has been the head chef of restaurant 360 in Dubrovnik since 2015. His greatest culinary accolades are the result of dedicated work in the kitchen, self-sacrifice, internships in different world kitchens, learning from colleagues, research of his own expression and establishment of high professional standards. He always points out that the awards belong to the entire 360 team, from restaurant manager Rudolf Papac to each of the chef-sommelier-waiter team, because every day, in practice, they present the house’s philosophy to the guests, in all segments.
Chef Curić successfully combines his passion for classic French cuisine and traditional recipes of the region from which he originates. The gastronomy of the Dubrovnik region and somewhat forgotten local foods are his constant inspiration, and the new flavors and visual attractiveness he gives to his dishes, delight distinguished guests from all over the world.
“The fact is that I’ve been working and learning for more than 20 years, that I’m storing the knowledge I’ve gained working with high-ranking chefs, persistently searching for my own expression. I have defined the direction in which I want to develop the cuisine for my guests but also for my region, the area to which I belong and from which I do not want to move away,” says Chef Curić.
