Jelena Bralić

Through general gymnasium, maritime, and tourism & hospitality programs, Professor Bralić combines academic excellence with modern vocational education. At the Ambroz Haračić Secondary School, she led projects aimed at modernizing the school’s hospitality training facility, transforming it - thanks to EU funding - into a technologically advanced culinary laboratory. She manages the school during the second year of implementing modular instruction based on new vocational curricula, balancing the needs of diverse educational sectors within a single institution. Through active participation in culinary workshops and gastronomic events, the school continuously keeps pace with market trends, provides students with direct exposure to the hospitality profession, and promotes the excellence and authenticity of local gastronomy. Professor Bralić’s work focuses on cultivating new generations of tourism professionals, chefs, and waiters who graduate with practical skills; consequently, she advocates for synergy between the education system and the real economy.
