On the last weekend in May, as the 2nd Festival Taste the Mediterranean begins 28-31/2015, Šibenik becomes the center of the Mediterranean and the city of Mediterranean flavors.
The Festival Taste the Mediterranean, both a cultural and a gourmet event, is promoting the Mediterranean Diet, in particular food, culture, traditions, products and lifestyle developed during the course of the centuries along the coasts of this magic sea in the heart of Europe.
This year’s festival Taste the Mediterranean will be held as part of the Rendez-vous, the French festival in Croatia. Therefore, the French gastronomy, products and wines will be presented in Šibenik. Most of the festival program will be held in the magical atmosphere of the recently renovated St. Michael fortress, which was named the Croatian cultural attraction in 2014., while in the city center will be organized Mediterranean market with products of local and foreign manufacturers.
Šibenik, the old Dalmatian town on the Adriatic coast, will become a meeting point for international F&B professionals, chefs, food producers, nutritionists, journalists, food writers, foodies and all those who love the Mediterranean. Are you on the list?
