Italia Fest is coming back to Zagreb!

On the European market, from 27 October to 1 November, will again be held gastronomic event which brings together top specialties of the most famous Italian culinary region.

From morning till evening (9:00 to 21:00), the people of Zagreb and their guests will enjoy the best products of Italian gastronomy: prosciutto, mortadella, salami of wild boar, salami with truffles, Parmesan, mozzarella of buffaloes, pecorino, goat cheeses, anchovies, olives, dried tomatoes, spices, pasta, pastries, and many other delicacies that normally can only be purchased on the Italian markets.

Italia Fest is a real small Italian market, which brings the atmosphere of the Italian “Mercatino”, with its eloquent sellers who will make sure you find out everything about a product that is in front of you.

At 12 large stalls you can find:

– Typical and characteristic sausages of Montepulciano, aged and preserved in the cave – Giant mortadella, originally produced in Bologna – Prosciutto from Tuscany flavored chili peppers, garlic and basil – Prosciutto from Tuscany flavored and mellow in wheat flour – Prosciutto from Tuscany mellow in the hay – Dried meat boar, typically produced in Maremma in Tuscany – Selected beef boar produced in Maremma in Tuscany – Salami and cheese flavored with truffles, typical of Norcia (Umbria) – The best Parmesan, mellow 36 months

This autumn festival of Italian taste and smell is an opportunity for those who were already at the Italia Fest in April this year, to return and discover new delights, but also for those who have failed to meet the best Italian gastronomy festival in Zagreb.
