Vincent Somsen, a thought leader at the frontier of hospitality industry evolution, leverages his robust academic foundation and diverse professional experiences to steer the sector towards the exciting opportunities offered by emerging technologies like AI and Web3. Vincent’s academic portfolio is a testament to his commitment to the hospitality sector. After a Bachelor in Hospitality from Hotelschool in The Hague he got his Master of Science in Management from Nova School of Business and Economics, with a focused specialization in Hospitality and a certificate in Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management from Cornell University.
His career spans a variety of pivotal roles within the hospitality industry, each contributing to his comprehensive understanding of the sector. Before the current position as Advisor at the Growth Advisor International Network (GAIN), where he is guiding hospitality clients in the implementation of emerging technologies like AI and Web3, he was the Head of Hotel Partnerships at Winding Tree, where he shaped the global hotel sales strategy and managed negotiations with leading hotel chains. Among his achievements there is the the creation of an unbiased AI search engine for travelers that aims to revolutionize hotel selection as well as the leadership of the international student club “NHC,” guiding and inspiring a team of over 30 students as its President.
