Biography

Dalibor Cvitković has represented the Tourist Board of the town of Mali Lošinj, since 2017. Sustainable development of the Town of Mali Lošinj is a direction that has been integrated into destination management for more than 15 years. The largest part of Director Cvitkovic’s activities include educating the community about sustainability and coordinating activities related to it. Cvitković was born in 1973 in Mali Lošinj, after graduating from the hotel management faculty in Opatija in 2000, he got a job in the Tourist Association of his hometown as a professional associate, later an event organizer. He knows well his island and its potential of promoting outdoor activities.

As a former active sportsman: basketball and water polo player, nowadays is a passionate recreationist. His hobbies include mountaineering, cycling and hiking. Together with his colleague Bolt Gaberšek, he once walked 150 km from the southernmost point of the island of Lošinj, cape Mrvaška, to the northernmost point of the island of Cres, cape Jablanac. That was a symbolic gesture which connected the two islands of the Kvarner Region.
