Biography
Branimir Prnjak, a native of Split, loved to hang out in his mother’s and grandmother’s kitchen as a boy. At the end of elementary school he chose catering as his preferred course of further education. His parents immediately supported his decision to enroll in a private high school, which he finished as a very good student. During his studies he did his internship in the best hotels in Split.
“The first job after school shapes your future. In Split, almost everyone wants to work in the Zrno Soli restaurant during and after finishing school. I wanted that too, so when I got a summer job in Zrno Soli in May 2018, there was no end to my happiness,” says Branimir Prnjak.
In the restaurant, he was won over by the friendly and encouraging working atmosphere, the opportunity to progress and develop his ideas every day, and to meet renowned, experienced domestic and foreign chefs. In the beginning, it was only a summer job that turned into a full-time job, and with the mentorship of Ivo Vrdoljak – the owner of the restaurant Zrno Soli, Branimir became a chef in the meantime. His desire is to develop his culinary skills in all directions, and thanks to his innate curiosity and persistence, he certainly has exciting years ahead of him.
