Biography
Alberto Garcia Perez was born in 1985 in the coastal city of Cadiz, Andalusia, in the heart of a region rich in gastronomic and wine culture. He grew up in the fishing village of Sanlucar de Barrameda, where from an early age he developed his love for good food and his affinity for nature. This idyllic childhood by the sea instilled in him a deep appreciation for the simple pleasures of life, which today is reflected in his approach to cooking. The key person during his education was his mentor, the former sous chef of the prestigious restaurant “El Celler de Can Roca”, who awakened his passion for gastronomy.
Alberto honed his skills in top restaurants around the world, including: Restaurante Aponiente (3* Michelin), Martin Berasategui (3* Michelin), Restaurant de l’Hotel de Ville Crissier (3* Michelin) and L’Atelier de Jean Luc Rabanel (2* Michelin). From the Dominican Republic to Croatia, his culinary philosophy is based on simplicity, seasonality and the highest quality ingredients. The chef combines Spanish spontaneity with Mediterranean spirit, and draws inspiration from music, art and nature.
